Support Services

Chelsea aims to give parents of children with
developmental disabilities (i.e., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down
Syndrome, etc.) an opportunity for getting daily tasks completed
knowing that their child is safe, happy, and thriving. Our staff is highly
trained in behavior management by a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior
Analyst) We aim for full disclosure with parents by providing parent
interviews before providing services to make sure we are offering a
service that fully meets their needs.

Tutoring:
Chelsea provides additional, personalized support to
students to promote independent learning. Tutors guide students
through the process of learning with the goal of strengthening student
skills to the point where the student no longer feels the need to access
tutoring services. Chelsea can also provide zoom learning support
while parents are at work or at home and specialized work on IEP
goals.

Mentorship:
provides individualized social and
independent skills support based on parent interview. Mentorship can
look like learning how to apply makeup independently or going on an
outing to learn money management. It can also look like working on
ordering food independently at a restaurant or working on
independently carrying on a conversation with a peer. It is solely
based on client’s needs.

Summer Camp:
Chelsea aims to provide a summer camp for
people with developmental disabilities (i.e., Autism Spectrum
Disorder, Down Syndrome, etc.) The summer camp goal is to grow
independence in social situations among peers and appropriateness
when playing games or having conversations. They can spend their day
playing board games, doing arts and craft activities, having
conversations with friends, and much more!
